Data Collection Technician

Role Overview 

Metric is looking to hire a Data Technician for an immediate need we have in our traffic operations group.
 
Day-to-Day:
  • Traffic Analysis / Data Collection for traffic studies
  • 90% Field work and 10% office work (CADD)
  • Counting vehicles at intersections (manually or via video)
  • Placing rubber tubes in road to count traffic
  • Deploying cameras at intersections
What you should bring:
  • Must have basic computer skills
  • CADD experience and/or data collection experience is a plus
  • Must have reliable transportation, clean driving history and be willing to travel throughout the surrounding Orlando area
  • Ability to work within timeframes and deadlines, and follow strict procedure and safety guidelines
  • Team oriented with strong capability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Drug Test is required
  • Valid Driver License is required
  • Available to start immediately and to work 40 hours a week anywhere between 8 to 10 hour days
  • Must have open availability Monday thru Friday and flexibility with scheduling
